Accessibility

Qoro is committed to making our website and services usable by people of all abilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technologies.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA published by the W3C, the standard referenced in Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This is a continuous effort — we know there are still gaps, and we’re actively working to close them.

We design and build with the following in mind:

  • Pages can be navigated with a keyboard alone.
  • Visible focus indicators show keyboard users where they are on the page.
  • Forms use clear labels, in-context error messages, and instructions.
  • Text contrasts and font sizes target WCAG 2.0 AA thresholds.
  • Animations and motion respect the user’s “reduce motion” system setting.
  • The site is responsive and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • We use semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate so assistive technologies can understand page structure.

Known limitations

We’re a small team in early launch, and we know some areas still need work:

  • Some interactive components have not yet been fully audited against screen readers.
  • Older content and pages may not yet meet our target standard while we work through the queue.
  • Some third-party integrations (e.g., payment processors, email senders) may inherit their providers’ accessibility levels rather than ours.

If you run into one of these or anything else that makes Qoro hard to use, please contact us — we’ll prioritize it.

Requesting accessible formats

If you need any Qoro content (booking receipts, contracts, policies, etc.) in an alternate accessible format — such as large print, plain text, or a screen-reader-friendly document — email us at team@qoro.ca. We’ll respond within 3 business days and provide the requested format at no additional charge.

Feedback and questions

Tell us where Qoro fell short. Your feedback directly shapes what we fix next.
