Stop paying for leads
that don't convert.
On most platforms, you pay for every lead, whether you win the job or not. On Qoro, you pay nothing until a customer hires you. Real job requests arrive with photos, a confirmed address, and a payment card on file. You quote what you want. Direct-deposit payouts every Friday for jobs completed and approved Mon-Thu of that week (Fri-Sun jobs roll to the next Friday).

Why join Qoro
Built to fix what's broken about every other platform
We built Qoro because the existing marketplaces are stacked against trades professionals. Here's how we're different.
Honest, transparent pricing
10% booking fee. That's it.
Qoro takes a flat 10% of every job you win as the booking fee — minimum $10, capped at $1,000. The customer also pays a small $2 platform fee on top of your quote, which covers payment processing and platform operations. No per-lead charges. No monthly subscription. No cut of materials. No surprise deductions from your payout.

How we compare
Less than half what most platforms take
Most Ontario trade marketplaces use commission, lead-fee, or subscription models that quietly eat 15–30% of your revenue. Qoro charges one transparent platform fee — paid by your customer at hire-time, fully disclosed before you accept any job.
| Cost | Typical Ontario trade platforms | Qoro |
|---|---|---|
| Commission per job | 15–30% (or $30–100 per lead) | 10% on every job, capped at $1,000 |
| Pay just to receive a lead | Yes — even if you don't win | Never. You only pay when you win the job. |
| Monthly subscription | $50–300/month for premium placement | $0. No subscription, ever. |
| Cut of materials you supply | Often included in commission | $0. Materials are yours, 100%. |
| Surprise deductions at payout | Processing, dispute, “service” fees | None. The fee shown at quote-time is the only fee. |

Common questions
Provider FAQ
How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. Applying is free, listing is free, quoting is free. You only pay a fee when you actually win a job.
Wait — so what's the actual fee per job?
10% booking fee on every job you win. Floor of $10 on very small jobs, capped at $1,000 on large ones. The customer also pays a flat $2 platform fee on top of your quote (covers payment processing and platform ops) — this comes out of their bill, not yours. Everything is shown to the customer transparently before they hire and to you before you accept. No surprises, no hidden deductions at payout.
How do payouts work?
Qoro pays you by direct deposit every Friday for jobs completed Mon–Thu of that week, once the customer has approved the completed work. The amount is your full quote (labour, plus materials if part of the scope) minus Qoro's 10% booking fee. No invoicing, no chasing.
What if a customer cancels?
If they cancel more than 8 hours before the scheduled start, they get a full refund. Within 8 hours, the booking fee is forfeited and the bulk goes to you as cancellation compensation. If you need to cancel, the customer is fully refunded — frequent late cancellations affect your standing on Qoro.
Do I have to use Qoro for materials?
No. You can either: have the customer supply materials (you quote labour only), or include materials in your quote (single combined price). Either way works. We don't take a cut of materials, ever.
What if I want to work outside Qoro?
You're an independent contractor — your time is your own. But while you're on the platform, you agree not to solicit Qoro customers off-platform. Doing so is grounds for permanent removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.
What trades are you launching with?
Security Systems and Home Services (handyman) are live today. Security covers cameras, alarms, smart locks, access control. Home Services covers TV mounts, IKEA assembly, drywall, doors, paint, honey-do punch lists, and similar pure-handyman work (no electrical or plumbing). Plumbing, Electrical, and Mobile Auto are onboarding now and going live through Q3 2026. If you work in those trades, apply now — you'll be one of the first providers on the platform when the vertical launches, and your founding-cohort 0% commission window stays intact.
